Membrane pleated filter cartridge integrity testing machine with model no. SIIC-M025-ITM is a manual filter tester developed by INDRO company, specially used for integrity testing PES, PVDF, PTFE membrane pleated filter cartridge.
 
The test principle is bubble point test, which is a simple and reliable method to test the integrity of microporous membrane filter element. It can not only judge whether the accuracy of the filter material is qualified, but also check whether the filter shell and seal are intact, and meet the requirements for the verification of the sterilization filter in the GMP specification. The instrument is applicable to the integrity test of sterilization filter in biology, medicine, food, beverage and other industries. It is also a necessary equipment for filter manufacturers to carry out ex-factory inspection of filter elements.

Default of tested filter cartridge adaptor are 222 and 226. Integrity testing of filter cartridge with other adaptors (connectors-end caps) are also available depends on your requirement.
 
Test Method:
1. Fully immerse the filter element to be tested in pure water or solvent (different materials of filter elements use different solvents, please call for details).
2. Put the filter element into the tester (online test is not required, but can be directly tested inside the filter).
3. Air entries until bubbles are generated from filter cartridge.
4. Record the pressure value of the precision pressure gauge on the equipment at this time.
5. After the test is completed, judge the integrity of the filter cartridge according to the tested pressure value.
